To be the first entirely environmentally friendly dog-walking service in Vancouver, using solely hybrid or electric vans to supply our Canine-taxi fleet. We at Glad Dogs and Englishmen are intent on becoming a model for small business environmentalism throughout the lower mainland.

The aim of Glad Dogs and Englishmen is to provide a one-on-one boarding service, with a minimum of one person taking care of a maximum of one dog in their own home.

This is to be an alternative to conventional kenneling and is intended to provide a top-notch home-to-home dog sitting resource, for owners who are only interested in the best for their dog. The amount of exercise that your dog has will be closely monitored and will be not less than three hours per day; including three separate walks.


One two hour walk will be monitored by having employees met by a supervisor during their walk, whereas the other two walks of the day will be subject to "spot-checks".

In addition to this, our services include a dog-taxi, an environmentally friendly dog-walking service and a basic-training service for dogs, employing qualified handlers trained in psychological techniques pertinent to dogs and using standards accepted at international levels. We are fully insured by ING insurance company or Loyd Thompson insurance of Canada.

We also supply animal-portraiture services at competitive rates and offer online bookings services.

Jennifer from vancouver, bc I brought my dog here and the service was horrible. Found them to be irresponsible and bad at communicating. Would never take my dog back.

Richard from Vancouver Seeing as how one of their vans just about hit me and my dog while we were crossing the street, I can't see how this company can even remotely claim to care about animals. In order to post a review, I had to give them one star, but they actually don't deserve it.

Al from Vancouver, BC Keeps the dogs on the bike path to annoy cyclists. Doesn't seem to care about the dogs safety at all. Seen him (guy with hat) doing this repeatedly.
